Later, I worked in innovation roles where the mandate was to bring emerging tech into core workflows. Then I built construction technology as a founder and learned what it takes to survive pilots, procurement, and field adoption.

That arc taught me a blunt lesson: construction doesn’t fail to adopt technology because the industry is backward.
